SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES
Method/Strategy (What will you do? What do you expect students to do? Include set induction and closing.)
Sarah and I will lecture with the powerpoint and give examples on each slide to help the students relate to the material on a personal level.
10 min.
Sarah and I will explain how to write a sample complaint letter and why it is important. We will then have the students pair up and disperse the letters so the students may begin writing their own using products they were displeased with.
3 min.
Students will write the letters individually but work with a partner to come up with ideas.
15 min.
Partners will then switch letters and switch roles, so they would be receiving letters as if they were the company who produced the faulty product. They will then decide how they will respond to the letters and give their responses back to their partners.
10 min.
Students will then share their experience to the class with how they felt when they switched roles, and whether or not their consumer rights were used or abused.
